Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2 rebuilds the Colonial Marine locker around a primary weapon plus a signature weapon, not the old locked pair from the first game. Cold Iron Studios has named the guns below in the 2026 class showcases. Customizable sidearms, three decal slots, and augments on fully upgraded guns are part of the same system, but most of the shared rifle, shotgun, and pistol pool is still unlisted. Each remade class has shown two signature weapons in those videos, and Specialist runs unlocked signatures from the others. Here is every named firearm shown so far.

M41A2 Pulse Rifle

Pulse rifle weapon customization in Aliens Fireteam Elite 2

The M41A2 Pulse Rifle returns from the first Aliens: Fireteam Elite as a primary, not a class-locked pair. The Specialist showcase puts it on a primary rail with 70 accuracy and 73 stability in the kit UI, and a hard damage drop after about 30 meters. That is the later customizable pulse rifle from the UAS Endeavor campaign, now sitting in the sequel's shared primary slot once missions open. The first-game M41A2 also dropped the underbarrel grenade launcher and used a 69-round magazine instead of the M41A's 99.

L56A3 Smartgun

L56A3 Smartgun signature weapon UI for the Specialist class in Aliens Fireteam Elite 2

The L56A3 Smartgun is a later support gun in the same family as the M56 Smartgun. The Specialist showcase lists 98 accuracy and 97 stability in the kit UI, with damage holding into mid range before the drop after about 50 meters. Marauder also has access to smartguns as swarm-clearing heavies, so the L56A3 is the named later model, not the only smartgun in the sequel. Once that kit is unlocked, Specialist can carry it without staying on Marauder's heavy seat.

X1 Fireball

X1 Fireball signature weapon UI for the Medic class in Aliens Fireteam Elite 2

The Armat X1 Fireball is a returning special-purpose gun shown as a signature weapon on the Medic. The kit UI lists 86 accuracy and 59 stability, with damage holding into mid range before a sharp drop after about 50 to 60 meters. That makes it the longer of the two close Medic guns, an incendiary answer rather than another pulse rifle. It is built for the same rooms as Combat Stims and the Advanced Trauma Station, not for long hive hallways.

Type 21 Tactical Shotgun Mk.2

Type 21 Tactical Shotgun Mk.2 signature weapon UI for the Medic class

The Type 21 Tactical Shotgun Mk.2 is the short-range signature shown beside the Fireball, marked Weyland-Yutani Corp on the receiver. The kit card lists 39 accuracy and 65 stability, with damage falling off hard inside the first 10 to 20 meters. That is a doorway gun for rooms already inside stim range, not a corridor rifle. The 10-to-20-meter drop puts it on the opposite end of the Medic pair from the Fireball.

DB-48 Daittyo Heavy Rifle

DB-48 Daittyo Heavy Rifle signature weapon UI for the Duelist class

The DB-48 Daittyo Heavy Rifle is the stability rifle from the Duelist showcase. Cold Iron framed it for sustained fire down long corridors and into packs, the high-stability option in a loadout that can also carry a second primary. It is a heavy automatic rifle, not a smartgun and not a pulse rifle with a grenade tube. Duelist can swap to the Alamein mid-fight when a flood of runners turns into one heavy target.

HNT-1 E1 Alamein Revolver Rifle

The HNT-1 E1 Alamein Revolver Rifle is the Duelist's precision counterpart to the Daittyo. The kit UI lists 87 accuracy and 67 stability, with damage holding into mid range before a steep drop toward 100 meters. Official materials sell it as the high-accuracy, high-damage rifle for clean hits on a heavier Xenomorph or synthetic, rather than spray into a doorway. The kit card shows a revolver cylinder and a long barrel, a precision rifle rather than another automatic.

SMB-94 Zephyr Plasma Emitter

SMB-94 Zephyr Plasma Emitter signature weapon for the Machinist class

The SMB-94 Zephyr Plasma Emitter is the signature plasma cannon from the Machinist showcase. The kit UI puts accuracy and stability in the mid-to-high 70s and 80s, a handling card closer to a support cannon than a pulse rifle. Plasma output is there to melt denser packs and synthetic armor while a turret or drone covers the flanks. That puts the Zephyr on the longer plasma side of the Machinist pair, opposite the close Zadak dump.

EDS-93 Zadak Plasma Discharger Mk.2

EDS-93 Zadak Plasma Discharger Mk.2 signature weapon UI in Aliens Fireteam Elite 2

The EDS-93 Zadak Plasma Discharger Mk.2 is the second Machinist energy gun named beside the Zephyr. The kit UI lists 44 accuracy and 66 stability, with damage falling off hard after about 8 meters. That is a close plasma dump rather than a corridor rifle, sitting in the same experimental energy kit as the Zephyr once that class is unlocked. The 8-meter drop is shorter than the Zephyr's plasma reach, and only the Type 21 falls off as fast.

BD-03 Djinn Personal Railgun

Hunter aiming a railgun down a corridor in Aliens Fireteam Elite 2

The BD-03 Djinn Personal Railgun is the precision rail option from the Hunter showcase. It is built to punish marked or slowed targets after Particle Pulse or Stasis Bolt opens a weak-point window, not to spray a hive hallway. Showcase coverage treats it as the finish gun once a runner or Drone is already pinned. Hunter perks No Mercy and No Rest both raise weak-point damage and stopping power on those shots.

Type 111 Directed Particle Emitter

Type 111 Directed Particle Emitter signature weapon for the Hunter class

The Type 111 Directed Particle Emitter is the Hunter's directed-energy signature, with clear Weyland-Yutani branding on the receiver. It sits beside the Djinn in the same experimental kit and already has a place in the wider Colonial Marine weapons list. Paired with the class slow kits, it is meant to finish pinned Xenos once the weak-point window is open. The Specialist showcase also ran the Hunter Particle Beam kit, so the same energy line can show up off Hunter.

M12A1 Rocket Launcher

M12A1 Rocket Launcher signature weapon UI in Aliens Fireteam Elite 2

The M12A1 Rocket Launcher is a Marauder signature weapon, a returning heavy from the remade Demolisher seat. The kit UI lists 72 accuracy and 43 stability, with damage holding out to about 80 meters before the drop. It sits with the class's shoulder kits, the smaller Blast Cannon and larger Titan Rockets, as the named rocket tube on the signature slot. The 80-meter hold outranges the Volcan's 30-meter flame cut and the pulse rifle's 30-meter drop.

OCAP-91 Volcan

OCAP-91 Volcan signature weapon UI in Aliens Fireteam Elite 2

The OCAP-91 Volcan is the other Marauder signature, a heavy flamethrower shown beside the M12A1. The kit UI lists 100 accuracy and 82 stability, with full damage into about 30 meters and a hard cut before 40. Cold Iron listed it with smartguns and other swarm-clearing tools from the remade Fireteam Elite 2 classes, a close burn option rather than another rocket tube. Past 30 meters the flame does nothing, so it is a room clearer, not a hallway gun.

Conclusion

The named Fireteam Elite 2 locker so far is a mix of returning USCM iron and new corporate signatures, not a complete armory. Pulse rifles and the later smartgun cover the familiar rails, while plasma, particle, and firebomb guns fill the class signature slots. Primaries, sidearms, and augments still have room to grow after the August 25, 2026 launch, when the new Fireteam 2 Xenomorph types are in the field. Specialist is the seat that can mix those unlocked signatures after the other classes are leveled.
