The HNT-1 El Alamein Revolver Rifle is a Sentinel Group precision rifle in Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2. Classified as a single-shot DMR, it combines the layout of a long rifle with an 8-round revolver cylinder. Its high accuracy and stopping power make it better suited to deliberate shots against tougher targets than sustained fire against groups. The Duelist pairs the Alamein with the faster-firing BD-48 Daittyo, giving the class a precision weapon alongside its automatic rifle. At three stars, the Alamein has Combat Rating 100, Accuracy 88, and 64 damage per shot.
Stats
At three stars, the El Alamein has Combat Rating 100, with 88 Accuracy and 67 Stability. A shot deals 64 damage and 76 Stopping Power, while its listed Fire Rate of 150 gives it 94 damage per second and 112 stopping power per second. Bullet Penetration is 4.0, and both Weak-Point Damage and weak-point stopping power receive a 25 percent bonus. The same card lists a 0 percent Critical Chance and a 50 percent critical multiplier.
The revolver cylinder carries 8 rounds, with 64 rounds available in total. Its listed reload time is only 0.52 seconds, which helps offset the small cylinder when the rifle is used regularly during a fight. Firing reduces movement speed by 20 percent, while aiming down the sight reduces it by 30 percent. Damage remains high at close range before falling away over longer distances toward 100 meters.

A useful Fireteam Elite 2 loadout can build on the Alamein's existing strengths as a precise, hard-hitting rifle. Its three attachment slots take a small optic, an internal magazine attachment, and a medium muzzle. The Hybrid Sight suits the weapon well, reducing spread by 10 percent while adding 5 percent Weak-Point Damage and 10 percent range. The trade-off is a 10 percent reduction in Handling.
The Augmented Speedloader is a natural fit for the internal magazine slot, increasing reload speed by 20 percent. For the muzzle, the Assault Brake adds 20 percent Stopping Power and reduces recoil by 35 percent while the shooter remains stationary. Together, these attachments favor the way the Alamein is already meant to be used: lining up individual shots rather than firing continuously while moving. The rifle's own trait adds 10 percent Movement Speed, while Hollow-Point Rounds increase its effectiveness against weak points.

Weapon Lore
Sentinel Group manufactures the El Alamein as a frontier weapon built around stopping power, straightforward maintenance, and reliability. Within the Fireteam Elite 2 weapon list, it is one of two weapons classified as a DMR, alongside the M42A2 Scout Rifle. The heavier precision category also includes sniper rifles such as the BD-03 Djinn, L33 Pike, and Type 102 Directed Force Sniper. Unlike those dedicated sniper weapons, the Alamein can be carried by every remade class.
The Duelist uses the Alamein alongside the BD-48 Daittyo. The two weapons fill different roles: the Daittyo provides sustained automatic fire, while the Alamein gives the class a more deliberate shot against a tougher or more distant target. A Hunter can also carry the Alamein as a secondary rifle, using it while the BD-03 Djinn railgun recharges. This makes the weapon less of a conventional sniper rifle and more of a flexible precision option between heavier shots.
Its appearance is unusual for the otherwise futuristic arsenal. The Alamein has a brown wooden stock and forend, a dark revolver cylinder, and a long silver barrel with cooling slots along the top. The cylinder sits prominently ahead of the trigger assembly, giving the rifle much of its distinctive profile. Its mixture of wood, exposed metal, and revolver-style operation also fits Sentinel Group's description of it as a practical frontier weapon rather than a highly specialized military system.
Cold Iron Studios showed the rifle alongside the Daittyo in the Duelist showcase. That version of the weapon card displayed Accuracy 87 and Stability 67. The later three-star stats screen instead lists Accuracy 88, while Stability remains unchanged. The El Alamein is new to Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2 and did not appear in the original Aliens: Fireteam Elite.
Conclusion
The HNT-1 El Alamein Revolver Rifle fills the gap between an ordinary rifle and a dedicated sniper weapon in Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2. Its 64 damage, high accuracy, strong stopping power, and fast reload favor carefully placed single shots, while the 8-round cylinder keeps it from becoming a sustained-fire weapon. A Hybrid Sight, Augmented Speedloader, Assault Brake, and Hollow-Point Rounds build further around that precision role. For the Duelist in particular, it provides the accurate counterpart to the much faster BD-48 Daittyo.
