The Infected Predator was a Yautja hunter in Alien vs. Predator: Fire and Stone, Christopher Sebela's 2014 Dark Horse miniseries drawn by Ariel Olivetti. He boarded the Geryon armada after it left LV-223, took a bite from the mutated synthetic Elden, and the Black Goo in that wound changed him. He grew huge, sprouted a third arm, packed extra tusks around his mouth, killed a clanmate, and fought mutated Francis Lane until Elden and Francis tore his arms off and Francis drove a pipe through his head.
Biography
The Bite
The hunter came in with a Yautja party drawn to the fight on the fractured Geryon armada on January 22, 2219. Elden was already white and red from the pathogen, with extra arms on his back, and adult Xenomorphs walked with him through the Helios and the attached hulls. In that melee a spear passed through Elden and the wound closed around the shaft instead of dropping him. The hunter got hold of the synthetic there, and Elden bit his arm.
The wound dumped accelerant into Yautja flesh. The hunter left the fighting line and sat against a bulkhead with green blood on the deck, hoping the dose would close the bite the way a hunter's body often sealed a cut. The Black Goo did not heal him. His face split into a wider mouth, extra tusks crowded the original mandibles, and his eyes went black while the rest of the party kept fighting through the wreck.
The Mutation
Within a few minutes the hunter grew into one of the largest Yautja on record. Pale muscle packed his chest and arms, and a third limb pushed from the shoulder, wet with green blood. The hunter armor he had worn onto the Geryon was too small for that bulk, and extra tusks crowded the mandibles until the usual four-tusk layout was gone.
The change was painful, and noise and sensation ran through him on the Geryon wreck. He treated the extra arm at first as if the accelerant had given him a new weapon instead of a wound. He had come aboard as a hunter with a clan, and after the mutation he fought his own clan as a bad blood Predator.
Against The Clan
A smaller hunter met the Infected Predator in a corridor of the Geryon and cut him with wristblades even after the giant lost a hand. The Infected Predator smashed that clanmate's mask, forced the smaller Yautja down, and bit through the face. Acid-green spray marked the deck around the kill, and the rest of the party that had boarded from the jungle world was already thinning in the hive and in Elden's hands.
He did not stop at that one body. He went after Xenomorphs, remaining hunters, and anyone else in reach, using the extra arm, the packed tusks, and his size instead of the spear and plasma caster he had carried before the bite. Plants in the wreck grew like parasites in the same outbreak that had remade him, so the corridors around the kill were already changing with the hunter.
Cannibalism
After the face bite he ate from the kill, snapped bones, and chewed through hunting gear that a healthy hunter would have taken as trophies. He stripped a mask, a disc, and wrist gear off the corpse while green blood smoked on the deck. Yautja hunting custom did not cover eating a clanmate, and the Black Goo had turned this hunter on his own species.
He also smashed a wrist communicator in that corridor. Francis Lane, who was still human and running for the Kadmos infirmary, reached Elden on the comm and said he was ready to talk. The Infected Predator was eating and growing in the background of that call while Francis set a net for the android who had bitten the hunter.
Francis And Elden
Mutated Francis came off the infirmary dose as a red brute and went after the Infected Predator on his own. The hunter was in agony from the change, and Francis first tried to kill him, then acted as if the infirmary dose had ended the disease. They tore at each other through the Geryon while Elden fought the hunter who had branded him.
The Infected Predator vomited green, bit Francis, and opened his back with claws. Francis tried to kill the giant and get off the wreck, and the hunter fought him instead of collapsing. Elden went into space off a hatch, climbed back for Francis, and punched the Infected Predator on the way to the last melee.
Death
Francis, already mutated, called Elden for help. Elden named himself to the Infected Predator, picked up a pipe, and Francis came in on his side. They took an arm each, ripped all three limbs off, and Francis drove the pipe through the hunter's head, which killed him on the Geryon wreck.
The extra arm grown by the Black Goo could not hold him up once those limbs were gone. Francis came apart in the garden after that, and Elden stayed among the plants with a cube of remains. The Infected Predator was already dead on the Geryon wreck by the time that garden scene closed.
Appearance & Abilities
Before Elden's bite he looked like the rest of his hunting party: a masked Yautja in armor, close to clan size, with a spear and the usual hunter kit from the jungle world. After the bite the Black Goo remade him as a Predator hybrid, packing pale muscle across his chest and arms, crowding extra tusks around his mouth, turning his eyes black, and growing a third arm from the shoulder. Remnant straps and a loincloth stayed on him because the armor no longer fit, and the extra mandibles were the clearest mark of the change besides that arm.
Hunter Kit
On the jungle world before the fleet, the Yautja party used spears and plasma casters. He boarded the Geryon with that same hunter loadout, including a bio-mask and wristblades among the wider set of Predator weapons. After the mutation he fought mostly with bulk, the extra arm, packed tusks, and a green spray from the mouth that burned like acid blood. He chewed a clanmate's mask, disc, and wrist gear after the kill instead of wearing them as trophies.
E. M. Gist's cover painting puts a shoulder caster and a small third limb on the mutated hunter, which matches the extra arm in Ariel Olivetti's interiors even when the fight on the page is claws and bite. Wristblades on the smaller clanmate cut the Infected Predator after a hand came off. Once the bulk took over, the interiors gave the corridor fights to that size, the extra arm, and the green spray rather than to a caster shot.
Conclusion
The Infected Predator was a nameless Yautja on the Geryon in Alien vs. Predator: Fire and Stone. Elden's bite put Black Goo in him, the change gave him a third arm and extra tusks, and he killed a clanmate before Francis and Elden tore him apart. He died on that wreck with a pipe through the head.
