Lord Predator: Yautja Ancestor & First Xenomorph Hunter
Lord Predator was an Ancient Yautja from Aliens vs. Predator 2010. He was remembered as the first Predator to successfully hunt the Xenomorph species, known to the Yautja as Serpents. His victory made him one of the most respected hunters in Predator history, and his legend survived for thousands of years after his death. Lord was also a direct ancestor of Dark Predator, who rediscovered his tomb during the crisis on BG-386.
The "Lord" Predator
Lord held the rank of Ancient, placing him among the most revered figures in the Yautja hierarchy. He was 7 feet 9 inches tall, male, and had white dreadlocks. Unlike many individual Predators who appeared directly in combat, Lord was mostly seen through holographic recordings, statues, concept art, and his sarcophagus. His story was still central to the Predator campaign, because Dark's mission on BG-386 repeatedly connected back to Lord's relics and ancient victory.

First Successful Xenomorph Hunter
Lord became legendary because he was the first Yautja to defeat a Xenomorph in a successful hunt. A holographic projection in the Predator temple showed him lifting the dead Serpent over his shoulders after battle. He threw the corpse down before other Yautja, who celebrated his victory as he raised his fist in triumph. It marked the beginning of the long and dangerous relationship between the Predators and the Xenomorph species. Lord's victory made him one of the most respected hunters of his age, even considered to be a holy Yautja prophet. Thousands of years later, he was still remembered by Yautja ancients, elders, and clan leaders. Spartan, the Elder of the Elite Clan, knew of Lord's importance and treated his legacy with reverence.
Pyramid On BG-386
After his death, Lord was buried inside a massive Yautja pyramid on BG-386. His burial chamber was connected to the history of the first Predator hunts against the Xenomorphs. The body of the first Xenomorph Queen captured by the Predators was also kept in the pyramid, making the site both a tomb and a sacred hunting monument. Lord's equipment, including his bio-helmet, combistick, and wrist gauntlet, was scattered through the temple grounds. The pyramid preserved his story through holographic memories that later guided Dark through the ruins.

Lord's Burial Chamber
Lord's story returned to importance when Dark travelled to BG-386 during the events of Aliens vs. Predator 2010. During the mission, to investigate lost Young Bloods, he acquired Lord's bio-mask and witnessed a holographic recording of Lord's first victory against a Xenomorph Warrior. Dark eventually reached Lord's sarcophagus inside the pyramid. There, he witnessed another holographic projection showing Lord's funeral procession. Dark placed the stolen wrist bracer on Lord's sarcophagus and activated its self-destruct device, intending to destroy the infected site. Before he could leave, Dark was attacked by the Predalien Abomination, a hybrid born from an Elite Predator and Specimen 6. Their fight took place beneath Lord's burial chamber, turning the ancient tomb into the final battleground of Dark's campaign.
Weapons And Equipment
Lord used a traditional but advanced set of Predator weapons. His equipment included wristblades, a wrist gauntlet, self-destruct device, combistick, bio-helmet, and plasmacaster. His elaborate mask became one of his most important relics, because Dark used it to access ancient holographic memories inside the temple. Lord's gear also showed the old connection between Yautja technology and ritual, where weapons could become sacred objects after a hunter's death.
Death And Destruction Of His Tomb
Lord was already dead long before the events of the game. His final resting place survived for thousands of years, but it did not remain intact forever. Dark used the stolen wrist bracer's self-destruct device to destroy Lord's sarcophagus, the burial chamber, the Yautja pyramid, and the surrounding Weyland-Yutani research facility. This act was not shown as disrespect. Dark destroyed the site to contain the Xenomorph outbreak and erase the Abomination, preserving the deeper meaning of Lord's legacy even as the physical tomb was lost.
Conclusion
Lord Predator was one of the most important ancient hunters in Aliens vs. Predator 2010. He was the first Yautja to successfully kill a Xenomorph, became a revered Ancient, and remained famous thousands of years after his death. His tomb on BG-386 preserved his memory until Dark, his descendant, rediscovered Lord's mask and repeated his ancestor's triumph by defeating the Predalien Abomination. Although Lord did not fight in the present-day story, his legacy shaped the entire Predator campaign and the Yautja obsession with hunting the Serpents.
