Alien Universe Governments: The UA, 3WE, UPP, And ICSC

By the 2180s, charted space was held by four governments: the United Americas, the Three World Empire, the Union of Progressive Peoples, and the Independent Core System Colonies. The United Americas held the American Arm and fielded the Colonial Marines. The Three World Empire, formed from Britain, Japan, and their partners, held the Anglo-Japanese Arm. The Union of Progressive Peoples was the socialist bloc, with the People's Army and the Space Operating Forces, and its capital at Rodina Station. The Independent Core System Colonies grew out of the 2080s Central Space Consortium and sold protection to worlds outside those three arms, including Alexandria. The firms that worked inside these states are collected under Alien Universe Companies, and the settlements they planted are under Alien Universe Colonies. In 2202 several of these states joined as the United Systems, and the armed service of that union was the United Systems Military.
