Female Blade Runners: Character Profiles
Female blade runners hunt replicants across every corner of the Blade Runner series, from the comics to the novels and the screen. Ash Ashina, the first woman in the LAPD blade runner unit, leads Titan's 2019, 2029 and 2039 comics. Iris Knaught works the Los Angeles streets in K. W. Jeter's novel Eye and Talon, and Olwen is the aging replicant hunter of the Prime Video series Blade Runner 2099. Each profile covers the character's cases, relationships, and fate, and more women of the unit will be added as their pages are written.
Aahna "Ash" Ashina was the LAPD blade runner of Titan's Blade Runner 2019, 2029 and 2039 comics, a woman with a failing spine who rescued Cleo Selwyn, defeated Yotun, outwitted her replicant double, and traded Selwyn's research to Niander Wallace.

Iris Knaught was an LAPD blade runner in K. W. Jeter's 2000 novel Blade Runner 4: Eye and Talon. After Captain Bryant's death she hunted Eldon Tyrell's living owl, Scrappy, through monsoon Los Angeles, on a division bounty higher than the pay for killing a replicant.

Olwen is the main replicant Michelle Yeoh plays in Blade Runner 2099. She is a blade runner with only days left to live, and the official premise pairs her with Hunter Schafer's Cora in a Los Angeles held by replicants. The teaser shows her questioning Cora after a prison beating.
