DH Press Alien Novels: Original Books, Plot & Lore
DH Press, the novel imprint of Dark Horse Comics, published six original Aliens novels from 2005 to 2008, after Bantam Spectra had adapted Dark Horse Aliens comics through 1998. Michael Jan Friedman's Original Sin started that run, Diane Carey wrote DNA War and Cauldron, John Shirley wrote Steel Egg, S. D. Perry wrote Criminal Enterprise, and B. K. Evenson's No Exit closed it. The six books were new stories, not comic or film adaptations, and the English Aliens novels later passed to Titan Books, which reprinted them in omnibus volumes.
