Xenomorphs From The Novels: Alien Profiles
The Alien novels introduced Xenomorph strains that never appeared on screen, and most of them came from Titan Books. Weston Ochse's Aliens: Infiltrator featured Subject Seven, a white Alpha created at Pala Station with irradiated Black Goo, and Monica, a striped drone from the same station. Tim Waggoner's Alien: Prototype featured the Necromorph, a diseased Xenomorph that carried cellular necrosis from its host. Alien: Enemy of My Enemy introduced the Biodrone, an engineered drone from Weyland-Yutani's Project Life Force. Each profile covered the creature's host, origin, abilities, and fate.
The Biodrone, tagged XX121B, was an engineered drone from Weyland-Yutani's Project Life Force. Dr. N.L. Babak meant the type to stay at drone stage, live about six days, and kill without starting a hive. In Alien: Enemy of My Enemy, biodrones overran the LV-846 summit in 2187.

The Necromorph was a diseased Xenomorph from Tim Waggoner's Alien: Prototype. Dr. Millard Gagnon named it after leftover cellular necrosis passed from host Hassan Bagrov into the larva. The adult hunted through Venture's V-22 Lodge on Jericho 3, coughed mutated necrosis into rooms and vents.
