Predator is Paul Monette's 1987 Jove novel of the film. Dutch Schaefer's rescue team enters Conta Mana for missing cabinet men, then a shapeshifting hunter skins them one by one. Dutch kills it with its own spear, and the egg-ship explodes on the border.

Predator 2 is Simon Hawke's 1990 novel of the film, published by Jove Books. Mike Harrigan tracks a cloaked hunter through a 1995 (the movie had 1997) Los Angeles heat wave after the jungle recordings came home. Harrigan wounds it with its disc. An elder beheads the hunter and leaves Harrigan a 1640 matchlock.

Alien vs. Predator is Marc Cerasini's 2004 HarperEntertainment novel of the film. Five Young Bloods drop on Bouvetoya for a blooding hunt. Alexa Woods fights beside Scar, sinks the Queen, and is marked before Scar's corpse twitches on the voyage home.

The Predator is Christopher Golden and Mark Morris's 2018 Titan novel of the film. Quinn McKenna mailed a fugitive hunter's mask home from Monterrey. The Upgrade hanged that hunter at a Georgia school and came back for Rory. The book ends with Loonie mementos in the dirt, not a Predator Killer suit.
