We are happy to announce the merger of Predator Stuff (predatorstuff.com) and Alien vs. Predator Central. This cooperation and merger will provide the ultimate Predator experience. While Predator Stuff has focused on the merchandise and collectibles side of the franchise, AvP Central has set its sights on the lore of the Expanded Universe. CoolProps has been coming out with some really awesome pieces and while I haven’t been able to get my hands on one to review (I have been asking them but so far no love) I am loving the fact that they are continuing to work with the major studios to produce these pieces. I am in LOVE with the Wolf Predator (which is my favorite Predator aside from the P1 original), this thing looks badass!
Not sure if you guys noticed, but Sideshow collectibles has the Hot Toys Elder Predator figure on Pre-Order and it’s still available! Last time I was actively selling these figures, they were selling for a DOUBLE what Sideshow has this at, so if you’ve always wanted to grab one of these, you might want to get your tail over to Sideshow and order one right away.
The level of creativity within the Predator community never ceases to amaze me. The latest in this creative cavalcade is the Predator Cake. That is a completely edible Predator cake custom made for your birthday, anniversary, graduation or just because you want a Predator Cake.
Holy smoke, take a look at this monster. The 28.5″ tall maquette was designed and sculpted by the very talented Amilcar Fong of the Viggiano Studio. The P2 has always been a controversial character as purists criticize the markings as “not Predator like” and “too colorful”.
The Predator series does not contain many books. Including the Alien vs. Predator series, there are slightly over a dozen Predator books. Most of them are quite great, with only a few stinkers. Here is a ranking of the top 10 Predator books, including many old classics.
